Truitt Family Foods sought to expand from their humble origins as a bean company to create a sub-brand of on-the-go bean-based products that are “grab and good.”
BACKGROUND
Truitt Family Foods, a medium-sized natural and sustainable producer of beans based in Salem, Oregon, was interested in expanding its product portfolio to include not just ingredient-level beans, but other value-added bean-based products, creating the opportunity for the sub-brand, Tru Flavors.
